Indian T20 League: Rajasthan vs Delhi – Game 7 – Match Preview

Rajasthan were dealt with a massive blow as Ben Stokes was ruled out of the Indian T20 League due to a broken finger.

Ahead of their crucial game against Delhi, Rajasthan were dealt with a massive blow as Ben Stokes was ruled out of the Indian T20 League due to a broken finger. However, they seem to have decent replacements available. David Miller is the front runner to replace him and is coming back from a top-class series against Pakistan. They may also field Liam Livingstone as he is a genuine opener.

The batting for Royals still looks very heavy but the bowling needs a lot of improvement. Apart from Chetan Sakariya, every other bowler was taken to the cleaners in the last match. They’ll need to improve their execution in the next game.

On paper, Delhi looks a real force. They decimated Chennai in their opening game and will go into the match with a lot of confidence. Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw have got off to a blazing start in the Indian T20 League while Rishabh Pant, Marcus Stoinis and Shimron Hetmyer are match winners on their day. Players like Chris Woakes, Ravi Ashwin and Tom Curran add a lot of depth to the team. Anrich Nortje has tested positive for COVID-19 thus he is set to miss Delhi’s next few games but Kagiso Rabada can definitely make a cut into the playing XI.
