After a shock defeat in the second T20I, Pakistan bounced back in style and defeated the hosts by 24 runs, clinching the T20I series 2-1. Once again, it was the duo of Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam that paved the way for a scintillating win. Batting first, Pakistan, on back of a stellar knock of 91 from Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam’s 52 posted a respectable 165-3 in their 20 overs. Luke Jongwe once again starred with the ball and picked up 3 wickets.

Chasing 166, Zimbabwe got off to a decent start adding 37 runs for the first wicket before Musakanda departed for 10. Madhvere and Marumani then stitched a 65 run partnership to get Zimbabwe in a very strong position. At 102-2 in 13.3 overs, Zimbabwe were looking to take down the target.
