Zimbabwe will be delighted with their performance  in the first game. However, despite playing well, they couldn’t defeat Pakistan. It will need a mammoth effort from them to pocket a victory.

Pakistan are a top-heavy team but their middle order is a cause of concern. Even in South Africa, the middle order didn’t live up to the expectations and Zimbabwe will be looking to utilize it. If they can dismiss Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan cheaply, they can get the Pakistan under pressure.  In the bowling department, Usman Qadir will be a major weapon for Babar Azam. The pacers are also in some decent form.

Talking about the hosts, they’ll need a mammoth effort from Sean Williams and Craig Ervine to challenge Pakistan. Also, they’ll hope that Brendan Taylor recovers from his infection and is available for selection. It will be a major boost to the hosts. Also, Sean Williams and Craig Ervine need to have a decent game.

Pitch Report – The match will be played at the Harare Sports Club. The ball tends to move around in the morning but the wicket flattens as the game progresses.
